Overdraft Protection for your Tri Counties Bank debit card
Our priority at Tri Counties Bank is to help you make financial choices that serve your best interests and specific needs. New regulations require us to get your permission before covering your overdrafts for debit card transactions made with your Tri Counties Bank ATM or debit card.
Beginning August 15, 2010, unless you give us permission, we must decline all one-time debit card and ATM transactions on accounts that do not have sufficient funds. To avoid having your transactions declined at the point of sale or ATM machine, you are required to tell us that you want your overdraft protection to continue. You must opt-in for each individual personal checking account you have with us. Your election applies only to electronic debit card transactions and will not affect Overdraft Privilege on your checks, ACH or recurring debit card payments.
